About

Susan Brehmer is a devotional writer, playwright, songwriter, violinist, encourager, and Bible enthusiast. She believes treasure is found in the Word of God and time with Jesus sheds light on scripture. She loves to lead worship and lead others through the life-changing Word of God.

She hosts the Encouraging Voice Podcast, a place to listen for the encouraging voice in your own life.

She appreciates her fellow travelers on their trek through the entire Bible. She has had fun crafting a ten-minute summary of the Old and New Testament as a souvenir of their journey together. Find a quick overview of the Bible here or a simple strategy to get started with the Bible here.

She thanks her violin students for developing her motivational speaking skills. She is grateful to friends and mentors who saw the writer in her before she made the discovery.

She has written devotions for Guideposts, The Secret Place, Pathways to God, The Christian Journal, and her writing has been featured in Christmas Spirit and Celebrating Christmas (Divine Moments); Christmas Gifts (Pacific Press); Swallow’s Nest: Poetry Journal, Third Annual Issue (OCW); Short and Sweet’s Family Album; and Angels in Disguise? (Short and Sweet).
